We have indeed read the proclamation, 'Truly, We have opened,'

and understood the plain sense of the allusion.

افتح الباب يا كريم حناناً

وامح ليل الضراء بالسراء

Open the door, O Generous One, out of compassion,

and dispel the night of adversity with prosperity.

وافض نفحة الرسول علينا

ما حينا في صبحنا والمساء

ما حينا في صبحنا والمساء

And pour upon us the Messenger's fragrant breath,

as long as we live, in our morning and evening.
