  1. لابد للعارف من محنة

    في الخلق أو في المال أو في البدن

    The knower must undergo an ordeal,

    through people, or in wealth, or in the body.

  2. تلك على المؤمن مقضية

    أنبأنا عن ذاك جد الحسن

    That is decreed for the believer;

    al-Hasan’s grandfather told us of it.
