سوى فتح أكدار وسد رجاء
Leave people be—for people have nothing to offer
Leave people be, for people have nothing to offer
Except the stirring up of sorrows and the thwarting of hope.
but unleashing troubles and shutting out hope.
وخذAnd take حبlove for أهلthe people of البيتthe House درعاًas a shield ومغنماand a prize
وخذ حب أهل البيت درعاً ومغنما
لردto repel عدوan enemy واغتنامand winning رضاءapproval
لرد عدو واغتنام رضاء
Take love for the Prophet’s Household as armor and a prize,
And take love for the People of the House as a shield and a prize,
To ward off an enemy and win divine favor.
