  1. يا من تمكن من جوانحه الهوى

    اصبر اذا ما جارت الاحباب

    O you whose breast love has possessed,

    Be patient when loved ones treat you unjustly.

  2. فلرب آن فيه ينقلب الجفا

    قربا يسر وتحضر الغياب

    For there is many a moment when estrangement turns

    To closeness that delights, and the absent return.
