يا مرسلاً لاذ الورى بجنابه

يا مرسلاً لاذ الورى بجنابه

وتمثل الأكوان في أعتابه

وتمثل الأكوان في أعتابه

O Messenger, at whose side all creation sought refuge,

and at whose thresholds all worlds stand.

وببابه وقفت صدور الأصفيا

وببابه وقفت صدور الأصفيا

ومشت ملائكة السما بركابه

ومشت ملائكة السما بركابه

And at his door stood the foremost of the pure,

and heaven's angels walked in his retinue.

ولجوده مدت أيادي الأنبيا

ولجوده مدت أيادي الأنبيا

وتأدبوا بالغيب في آدابه

وتأدبوا بالغيب في آدابه

And for his bounty the prophets' hands were outstretched,

and in the unseen they were schooled in his manners.

عطفاً بحقك يا شفيع المذنبي

عطفاً بحقك يا شفيع المذنبي

ن فإن دمعي هاج بحر سحابه

ن فإن دمعي هاج بحر سحابه

Show compassion, by your own right, O intercessor for sinners,

for the sea of my tears' clouds has surged.

وامنن على برحمة وبرأفةٍ

وامنن على برحمة وبرأفةٍ

وارحم فؤاداً مؤلماً بحرابه

وارحم فؤاداً مؤلماً بحرابه

And favor me with mercy and compassion,

and have mercy on a heart pained by his spears.

صلى عليك اللَه يا من لألأت

صلى عليك اللَه يا من لألأت

أنوار سر اللَه في محرابه

أنوار سر اللَه في محرابه

May God bless you, O you—there shone

the lights of God's secret in your prayer niche.

والآل أنك والصحابة كلهم

والآل أنك والصحابة كلهم

ما غاب فيك القلب عن آرابه

ما غاب فيك القلب عن آرابه

And the family—[unclear wording: 'that you']—and all the Companions,

so long as the heart, lost in you, forgets its desires.
