كالشمسlike the sun مظهرthe manifestation فضلهhis excellence لاnot يجحدis denied
كالشمس مظهر فضله لا يجحد
Ahmad is the master of mankind, the caliph’s succor.
The manifestation of his excellence is like the sun—undeniable.
ذاكthat one الرفاعيal-Rifa‘i الحسينيal-Husayni الذيwho
ذاك الرفاعي الحسيني الذي
مدتwas extended لهto him منfrom حجرةthe chamber الهديguidance اليدthe hand
مدت له من حجرة الهدي اليد
That is al-Rifa‘i, al-Husayni, to whom
the hand was extended from the chamber of guidance.
وتنورand was illuminated الحرمthe sanctuary الشريفthe noble براحةby a palm
وتنور الحرم الشريف براحة
برزتemerged لهfor him بعلاto the loftiness of المكانةthe rank تشهدattesting
برزت له بعلا المكانة تشهد
And the noble sanctuary was illuminated by a palm
that emerged for him, attesting to his lofty rank.
اللهGod اكبرis greatest ذلكthat الفضلthe favor الذيwhich
الله اكبر ذلك الفضل الذي
اولاهbestowed upon him احمدناour Ahmad الحبيبthe beloved محمدMuhammad
اولاه احمدنا الحبيب محمد
God is greatest! That is the favor which
the beloved Muhammad bestowed upon our Ahmad.
