بفضلك أدركني أزل كربتي عني

To you I turn for refuge, O Prophet of all creation—come to my aid!

ولا تقطعن حبلي فإني ألوذ في

Never sever my cord, for I seek refuge within

your sanctuary; so bestow a precious gift upon me through your tenderness and bounty.

For from you come largesse and gifts in every circumstance,

whereas error and ugliness have their source in me.

وجود وبالوهب الإلهي أمني

Favor me with kindness, a concealing veil, and a breath of grace,

and generosity; and through divine bestowal, grant me safety.
