اهلاً وسهلا بالصباح المنير

اقبل والقلب به يستنير

Good morning, welcome the bright dawn

Come, and the heart is enlightened by it

وعين يعقوب به ابصرت

بلا قميص بل بقول البشير

And the eye of Jacob saw by it

Without a shirt, but by the words of the gospel

يا يوسف الروح ويا عينها

وهيكل المجد الاثيل الخطير

O Yusuf, the spirit and her eye

The venerable and precious temple of glory

قد غبت لا غبت ولكنها

اجزاء قلبي لك دوما تشير

You were absent, not absent, but

Parts of my heart always point to you

يا قرة العين وانسانها

انت بملك القلب مني امير

O delight of the eye and its companion

You are the king of my heart

ان كنت في حي فقلبي به

وحيثما سرت فروحي تسير

If you are alive then my heart is with you

And wherever you went, my soul goes

انت انيسي وجليسي الذي

يحيا به لبي ونعم العشير

You are my friend and companion by whom

My heart and how good a companion lives

نتيجة العمر ومعنى الحيا

ت اليوم في ذاتي وطرفي القرير

The result of life and the meaning of life

I saw today in myself and my dear eyes

ازعجني بعدك يا بغيتي

وان تكن معنى لروحي سمير

I missed you, my beloved

And that you were a meaning to my soul

فالحمد لله البعاد انقضي

وروضنا رش بغيثٍ مطير

So praise God, the absence has ended

And our meadow was watered by pouring rain

وعمنا الله باحسانه

وانه المولى ونعم النصير

And God blessed us with his bounty

And He is the Lord and the best supporter
