يا جاهلاً قدر أهل البيت والمدد

يا جاهلاً قدر أهل البيت والمدد

وذاهباً في الهوى الوهمي عن الرشد

وذاهباً في الهوى الوهمي عن الرشد

O you ignorant of the worth of the Prophet’s household and of spiritual aid,

And straying from right guidance through illusory desire,

شيخ العشيرة يحمي أهل عصبته

شيخ العشيرة يحمي أهل عصبته

فكيف بالمصطفى علامة الأبد

فكيف بالمصطفى علامة الأبد

A clan’s chief protects his kinsmen—

Then what of the Chosen One, the sign of eternity?

ووعد ربك في تطهير عترته

ووعد ربك في تطهير عترته

بحكم الذكر لا يخفى على أحد

بحكم الذكر لا يخفى على أحد

And your Lord’s promise to purify his progeny,

By the Qur’an’s decree, is hidden from no one.
