By God, there is none but God for whoever
By Allah, nothing is complete except Allah, for one
Has become troubled by the happenings of time.
Who has become anxious about the events of time.

For He is the most generous of those who give, and of those
Indeed He is the most generous of those who give and those who

Have no need of Zayd and of Amr, and of...
Be self-sufficient without Zaid or Amr or someone who
Leave lands where you are held in contempt.
Has abandoned homelands where you are subjugated.

Al-Sham, if you wish, or, if you wish, Yemen.
Go to Syria if you wish, or to Yemen if you wish,
For wherever you arrive, there is a friend and a home.
For wherever you come, a friend and peace.
