رجائي وحاجاتي على ساحل الترك

By your grace, O sun of the prophets, do not leave

By your grace, O sun of prophets, do not let

my hope and my needs on the shore of abandonment.

My hopes and needs be left on the shores of deprivation

ولا تلوعني نظرة العطف إنني اع

ولا تلوعني نظرة العطف إنني اع

تماداً على علياك لاو عن الملك

تماداً على علياك لاو عن الملك

And let no glance of compassion torment me; indeed, I—

And do not torment me with a glance of kindness, for I

relying on your lofty rank—turn away from dominion.

Rely on your highness, not on the kingdom

وحقق بعطف منك ظني بجودك ال

وحقق بعطف منك ظني بجودك ال

عظيم الذي استولى على العرب والترك

عظيم الذي استولى على العرب والترك

And, with kindness from you, fulfil my expectations of your bounty—

And fulfill my expectations in your great

that immense bounty which has held sway over Arabs and Turks.

Generosity that has dominated the Arabs and the Turks

فبابك باب اللَه والفضل واحد

فبابك باب اللَه والفضل واحد

وإني بهذا الشان خالٍ من الشك

وإني بهذا الشان خالٍ من الشك

For your door is God's door, and the grace is one.

For your door is the door of God, and grace is one

And in this matter I am free of doubt.

And I have no doubt about this

فقل لعدوي مت مع الهم والأسا

فقل لعدوي مت مع الهم والأسا

وقل لي بفضل اللَه أدخلت في سلكي

وقل لي بفضل اللَه أدخلت في سلكي

So tell my enemy, “Die with worry and sorrow!”

So tell my enemy, "Die with worries and sorrows"

And tell me, “By God's grace, you have been admitted into my ranks.”

And tell me, "By the grace of God, you have entered my path"
