O Messenger of divine pleasure, by your grace rescue

O Messenger of Contentment, by your grace is your abode

A bondsman who seeks refuge in the shade of your abode.

A slave in distress takes refuge in the shade of your abode

غاب من كربه عن الناس طرا

غاب من كربه عن الناس طرا

ووهى منه فكره والمدارك

ووهى منه فكره والمدارك

In his anguish he has withdrawn from all people,

He was lost from people due to his worries

And his thought and faculties of perception have grown feeble.

His thoughts and senses confused

فأغثه بسر قدسك يا من

فأغثه بسر قدسك يا من

أرشد العالمون من أنذارك

أرشد العالمون من أنذارك

So aid him through the mystery of your holiness, O you

So help him with your sacred secret, O you who

Through whose warning the worlds were guided.

Guided the worlds with your warnings

ولك الجاه والجلالة والعز

ولك الجاه والجلالة والعز

م وأنت الحامي عصابة جارك

م وأنت الحامي عصابة جارك

And yours are rank, majesty, and resolve,

To you belong the glory, majesty and honor

And you protect the band of those who seek your shelter.

You are the protector of the people of your neighborhood

ولك القوة التي لا تضاهي

ولك القوة التي لا تضاهي

ولك الباس في جميع المعارك

ولك الباس في جميع المعارك

And yours is the power that cannot be matched,

To you belongs the power that has no equal

And yours is valor in every battle.

To you belongs the might in all battles

لألأ الكون من ضيا نورك ال

محض وخاف الأكوان جذوة نارك

محض وخاف الأكوان جذوة نارك

The universe glittered with the radiance of your light—

The universe is filled with the pure light of yours

Pure—and the worlds feared the ember of your fire.

And the worlds fear the embers of your fire

أضعف الناس أعظم الناس يدعى

أضعف الناس أعظم الناس يدعى

أن يلاحظه لطف طرف انتصارك

أن يلاحظه لطف طرف انتصارك

The weakest of people is called the greatest of people

The weakest of people, the greatest of people is called

If the kindness of your supporting glance regards him.

To notice the kindness of a glance from your victory

أغرق الكائنات بحرك جوداً

أغرق الكائنات بحرك جوداً

والوجود استمد من أنهارك

والوجود استمد من أنهارك

Your sea engulfed all beings in generosity,

You have flooded existence with your ocean of generosity

And existence drew sustenance from your rivers.

And existence drew from your rivers

والنبيون والعوالم طرا

والنبيون والعوالم طرا

فرع فضل من أصل فيض بحارك

فرع فضل من أصل فيض بحارك

And the prophets and all the worlds

The prophets and the worlds are a branch

Are a branch of grace from the root of your seas' outpouring.

Of the abundance pouring from your sea’s origin

وعلوم العرفان في كل طود

وعلوم العرفان في كل طود

ومقام من منطوي أسرارك

ومقام من منطوي أسرارك

And the sciences of gnosis at every lofty peak

And the sciences of mysticism in every dune

And station arise from the hidden folds of your mysteries.

And states of what is concealed of your secrets

ورسوم الورى ومن حل فيها

ورسوم الورى ومن حل فيها

عند كشف الغطاء من آثارك

عند كشف الغطاء من آثارك

And the forms of creation, and whoever dwells within them,

And the symbols of existence and whoever dissolved in them

When the veil is lifted, are among your traces.

When the cover is removed from your traces

والمعاني التي عن الكشف جلت

والمعاني التي عن الكشف جلت

نكتة تستفيض من أطوارك

نكتة تستفيض من أطوارك

And the meanings too exalted for unveiling

And the meanings that transcended the unveiling

Are a subtle point overflowing from your states.

Are subtle points flowing from your ways

وصدور الأملاك في الملأ ال

وصدور الأملاك في الملأ ال

أعلى جنود إلى أمير فخارك

أعلى جنود إلى أمير فخارك

And the chiefs of the angels in the assembly

And the chests of angels in the highest assembly

On high are troops serving the prince of your glory.

Are the supreme troops of their noble commander

وجمان البحر الإلهي معنى

وجمان البحر الإلهي معنى

فصلته يد الخفا من نجارك

فصلته يد الخفا من نجارك

And the pearls of the divine sea are a meaning

And the beautiful seas of divinity in meaning

Fashioned by the hand of the unseen from your essence.

Were distinguished by the hand of your artisan

وكنوز الغيب المقدس في طي الت

وكنوز الغيب المقدس في طي الت

تجلي القدسي في بطن غارك

تجلي القدسي في بطن غارك

And the treasures of the sacred unseen lie folded within the

And the sacred treasures of the unseen folded

Holy manifestation in the depths of your cave.

In the holy manifestation within your cave

ولك الدولة التي بك دامت

ولك الدولة التي بك دامت

حيث للَه تم محض افتقارك

حيث للَه تم محض افتقارك

And yours is the dominion that has endured through you,

And yours is the state which by you remained

For your utter need of God reached perfection.

As for Allah pure neediness of you

فأغثني وارحم بفضلك فقري

فأغثني وارحم بفضلك فقري

وتحنن قد ذبت مما أعارك

وتحنن قد ذبت مما أعارك

So rescue me, and by your grace have mercy on my poverty,

So help me and have mercy by your grace on my poverty

And show compassion: I have melted from what was lent to you.

And be compassionate as I have wasted from what you lent me

وعليك الصلاة في كل آن

وعليك الصلاة في كل آن

وسلامٌ يحف روض مزارك

وسلامٌ يحف روض مزارك

And upon you be blessings at every moment,

Upon you blessings at every instant

And peace surrounding the garden of your shrine,

And peace surrounds the meadow of your tomb

وعلى آلك الكرام وصحب

وعلى آلك الكرام وصحب

وعلى التابعين من أنصارك

وعلى التابعين من أنصارك

And upon your noble family and companions,

And upon your noble family and companions

And upon the followers among your supporters.

And upon the followers from your supporters
