ببابك يا رسول اللَه حطت

لعبدك حاجة فأحسن قضاها

لعبدك حاجة فأحسن قضاها

At your door, O Messenger of God, has alighted

At your door, O Messenger of Allah, I have come

A need of your servant; so graciously fulfill it.

Your servant has a need, so grant it the best fulfillment

ففي عتبات عزك كل خير

ففي عتبات عزك كل خير

ولا أمل يحصل من سواها

ولا أمل يحصل من سواها

For at the thresholds of your glory lies all goodness,

For at the thresholds of your glory is all good

And no hope is realized from anywhere else.

And I have no hope of obtaining it from other than you

ونفت لكل نجح باب فتح

ونفت لكل نجح باب فتح

وأنت رسول مولى الخلق طه

وأنت رسول مولى الخلق طه

And it denied every success a door of opening [Arabic wording unclear].

You have unlocked for all success an open door

And you, Taha, are the Messenger of the Lord of creation.
