If I found a wing,

My heart would endure my intense weariness.
My heart endures from the severity of my fatigue
لاصبرَno patience ليfor me
لاصبرَ لي
كيفhow الصبرpatience والجسمand the body ناحلwasted
كيف الصبر والجسم ناحل
I have no patience.

How can I have patience when my body is emaciated

نبكيI weep علىover بعدthe absence of الحبايبْthe beloveds
نبكي على بعد الحبايبْ
O my lord, it is my right
O my Lord it is right for me
To weep over my beloveds' absence.
To cry over the distance of loved ones
ياO سيديmy lord هُمthey سادتيmy masters
يا سيدي هُم سادتي
وأناand I إِليهمof them مفتقرْin need
وأنا إِليهم مفتقرْ
O my lord, they are my masters,
O my Lord they are my masters
And I am in need of them.
And I need them
ياO سيديmy lord منbecause of وحشتيmy loneliness
يا سيدي من وحشتي
بَدَّلتْI exchanged نوميmy sleep بالسهرfor wakefulness
بَدَّلتْ نومي بالسهر
O my lord, because of my loneliness,
O my Lord from my loneliness
I have exchanged my sleep for wakefulness.
I changed my sleep to wakefulness
ياO سيديmy lord منbecause of فرقتيmy separation
يا سيدي من فرقتي
نبكيI weep علىover بعدthe absence of الحبايبthe beloveds
نبكي على بعد الحبايب
O my lord, because of my separation,
O my Lord from my separation
I weep over my beloveds' absence.
We cry over the distance of loved ones
لاno صبرَpatience ليfor me
لا صبرَ لي
كيفhow الصبرpatience والجسمand the body ناحلْwasted
كيف الصبر والجسم ناحلْ
I have no patience.
