دخلَentered الدلاَّلُthe broker المدينهthe city
دخلَ الدلاَّلُ المدينه
والعاشقُand the lover فيهاin it يربحْprofits
والعاشقُ فيها يربحْ
The broker entered the city.
The guide entered the city
And the lover profits there.
While the lover in it profits
هياcome نزورwe visit نبيناour Prophet
هيا نزور نبينا
هيَّاcome والقلبُand the heart مجَرْحْwounded
هيَّا والقلبُ مجَرْحْ
Come, let us visit our Prophet.
Come let's visit our prophet
Come, with the heart wounded.
Come though the heart is wounded
