1. يا عالمْ بالحالْ

    حَالي ما يخفاكْ

    O Knower of my state,

    My state is not hidden from You.

  2. يا نعمَ المولى

    دَاوني بدَواكْ

    O excellent Master,

    Heal me with Your remedy.

  3. يا حادي السُرَى

    في جنح الظلامْ

    O camel-driver of the night journey,

    Under cover of darkness,

  4. مهلا كي ترى

    من يَبدي السلامْ

    Slow down, so you may see

    The one who offers the greeting of peace:

  5. مصباحَ الأمة

    مزيلَ الغمه

    The lamp of the community,

    The dispeller of sorrow,

  6. طه المختارْ

    شفيع الأمه

    Ta-Ha, the Chosen One,

    The community's intercessor.

  7. صلوا يا حضارْ

    تغنموا الأجورْ

    Send blessings, O you gathered here—

    You will reap rewards—

  8. على النبي المختارْ

    مفتاح السرورْ

    Upon the Chosen Prophet,

    The key to joy.

  9. يا الله فارزقنا

    زوره للمختارْ

    O Allah, grant us

    A visit to the Chosen One;

  10. ثُم طوفنا

    كعبة الأنوارْ

    Then let us circle

    The Kaaba of lights.

  11. أيها العشاق

    مشروبي قد راقْ

    O lovers,

    My drink has grown clear;

  12. فانهض للساقي

    من خمر الخلاقْ

    So rise to the cupbearer

    Of the Creator's wine.

  13. اسحب الكاس يا حبيب

    واسقيني صافي المروق

    Draw forth the cup, O beloved,

    And give me the pure, clarified wine to drink.
