of the Chosen One, the people's adornment.

With the Chosen One, the beauty of all creation

His light shines forth,

His light radiates

my master, shaded by the cloud.

My master shaded by clouds

وفيه نطمعْ

ربيعه مع تهامه

And in him we place our hope—

Rabīʿa together with Tihāma.

For his springtime amidst his integrity

في أمته يومَ القيامه

في أمته يومَ القيامه

An intercessor whose intercession is accepted

Intercessor and advocate

for his community on the Day of Resurrection.

For his nation on Judgement Day

يامولتي جيتك دخيلْ

O Kaaba of God,

O Kaaba of Allah

O my lady, I have come to you seeking refuge.

O my beloved, I come to you as a supplicant

امتي نُقبِلْ

تلك المساحلَ والنخَيلْ

تلك المساحلَ والنخَيلْ

When shall I kiss

My nation kisses

those shores and palm trees?

Those paths and palm trees

وثيابها كله حريرْ

Mecca is a bride,

Mecca is a bride

and her garments are all silk.

Dressed all in silk

حَسُنتْ على البدر المنيرْ

Dark, jet-black,

Her kohl is from Gonda

she is lovelier than the radiant full moon.

Beautifying the shining full moon

My eyes glimpsed

My eyes glimpsed

the Beloved's name, never hidden.

The name of the Beloved does not fade
