    نعشقْ بالنظرْ

    Leave me be, O my friends,

    to love by gazing

  2. في سيد الوجودْ

    وبِه افتخرْ

    upon the Master of existence,

    and in him I take pride.

  3. هُو بغيتي يا سيدي

    وأنا بغيته

    He is my desire, O my master,

    and I am his desire.

  4. وتجلى لِي يا سيدي

    وفي حضرته

    And he revealed himself to me, O my master,

    and in his presence,

  5. سِرْ بنَا قيامْ

    لمن لا ينامْ

    lead us, standing in worship,

    for the One who never sleeps.

  6. واترك الوجودْ

    عني والسلامْ

    And leave existence

    away from me—and peace.

  7. عليا وصالْ

    ما بين هجرانْ

    Union comes upon me

    amid estrangement.

  8. نجد بروحي

    ومالي ومالي

    I give freely of my soul,

    and my wealth, and my wealth.

  9. سقاني حِبي كاس

    الوصالِ وصالي

    My beloved gave me a cup to drink,

    of union—my union.

  10. يا روحَ الأرواحْ

    أنت مرادي ومالي

    O spirit of spirits,

    you are my desire and my wealth.
