يا ناعِيَ الدينِ الَّذي يَنعى التُقى

يا ناعِيَ الدينِ الَّذي يَنعى التُقى

قُم فانعَهُ وَالبَيتَ ذا الأَستارِ

قُم فانعَهُ وَالبَيتَ ذا الأَستارِ

O herald of faith's death, who proclaims the death of piety,

Rise and proclaim its death, and that of the House with its coverings.

أَبَنِي عَلِيٍّ آلَ بَيتِ مُحَمَدٍ

أَبَنِي عَلِيٍّ آلَ بَيتِ مُحَمَدٍ

بِالطَّفِّ تَقتُلُهُم جُفاةُ نِزارِ

بِالطَّفِّ تَقتُلُهُم جُفاةُ نِزارِ

Is it the sons of Ali, the family of Muhammad's house,

whom the brutes of Nizar slay at al-Taff?

سُبحانَ ذي العَرشِ العَلَيِّ مَكانُهُ

سُبحانَ ذي العَرشِ العَلَيِّ مَكانُهُ

أَنّي يُكابِرُهُ ذَوو الأَوزارِ

أَنّي يُكابِرُهُ ذَوو الأَوزارِ

Glory to the Possessor of the Throne, whose station is exalted!

How can those burdened with sins arrogantly defy Him?

أَبني قُشَيرٍ إِنَّني أَدعوكُمُ

أَبني قُشَيرٍ إِنَّني أَدعوكُمُ

لِلحَقِّ قَبلَ ضَلالَةٍ وَخَسارِ

لِلحَقِّ قَبلَ ضَلالَةٍ وَخَسارِ

O sons of Qushayr, indeed I call you

to the truth, before error and ruin.

قودوا الجيادَ لِنَصرِ آلِ مُحَمَدٍ

قودوا الجيادَ لِنَصرِ آلِ مُحَمَدٍ

لِيَكونَ سَهمُكُمُ مَعَ الأَنصارِ

لِيَكونَ سَهمُكُمُ مَعَ الأَنصارِ

Lead the steeds to aid Muhammad's family,

so that your share may be with the supporters.

كونوا لَهُم جُنَناً وَذودوا عَنهُمُ

كونوا لَهُم جُنَناً وَذودوا عَنهُمُ

أَشياعَ كُلِّ مُنافِقٍ جَبّارِ

أَشياعَ كُلِّ مُنافِقٍ جَبّارِ

Be shields for them, and drive away from them

the followers of every tyrannical hypocrite.

وَتَقَدَّموا في سَهمِكُم مِن هاشِمٍ

وَتَقَدَّموا في سَهمِكُم مِن هاشِمٍ

خَيرِ البَريَّةِ في كِتابِ الباري

خَيرِ البَريَّةِ في كِتابِ الباري

And press forward in your share of Hashim,

the best of creation in the Creator's Book.

بِهِم اِهتَدَيتُم فاكفُروا إِن شِئتُمُ

بِهِم اِهتَدَيتُم فاكفُروا إِن شِئتُمُ

وَهُمُ الخِيارُ وَهُم بَنو الأَخيارِ

وَهُمُ الخِيارُ وَهُم بَنو الأَخيارِ

Through them you were guided; then disbelieve, if you wish.

And they are the best, and they are sons of the virtuous.
