وَلاnor إِرقاصُناour dancing خَلفَbehind المَواليthe patrons
وَلا إِرقاصُنا خَلفَ المَوالي
بِسُنَّتِناour custom عَلىduring عَهدِthe time of الرَسولِthe Messenger
بِسُنَّتِنا عَلى عَهدِ الرَسولِ
Nor was our dancing behind the patrons
Our custom in the Messenger’s time.
