لِموسىbelonging to Musa أَعْبُدٌslaves وأَنَاand I أخُوهُhis brother
لِموسى أَعْبُدٌ وأَنَا أخُوهُ
وصاحِبُهand his companion وماليand I have none غيرُother than عَبْدِa slave
وصاحِبُه ومالي غيرُ عَبْدِ
Musa has slaves, and I am his brother,
I worship Moses though I'm his brother,
And his companion; yet I have but one slave.
His companion, and have no other master.
فلوso if شاءwilled الإلهُGod وشاءand willed موسىMusa
فلو شاء الإلهُ وشاء موسى
لآنَسَwould comfort جانبيmy side فَرَجٌFaraj (literally, relief) بِسَعْدِwith Sa'd (literally, good fortune)
لآنَسَ جانبي فَرَجٌ بِسَعْدِ
So if God willed, and Musa willed,
Had God and Moses willed it as well,
Faraj would bring comfort to my side alongside Sa'd.
My side would be graced by auspicious Sa'd.
