Around which the bees chant
Joyous songs.

You will not grow bored, O my lambs,
In the forest's shady refuge
You shall not weary, my sheep,
In the sanctuary of the shady forest.
For the forest's time is a playful child
In the sanctuary of the shady wood,

Sweet and beautiful
For forest time is a playful child,
Sweet and beautiful.

With a difficult, sullen face
But the time of men is an old man,
Grim-faced and ponderous,
Who walks in boredom
Frowning-faced and heavy,

Over those plains
Walking in weariness
Across those plains.
You have your pasture in the forests
Over those plains.

Yours in the forests is the pasture
And your lovely roaming;

And for me, singing and playing music,
Until twilight
And mine is the singing and playing
Until late afternoon.
And when the shade of the thin vegetation grows long
Until the time of sunset.
فإذاso when طالتْlengthened ظِلالُthe shadows of الكَلإِthe grass

So when the shadows of the grass lengthen,
Then let's return our walk
And when the shadows lengthen
Tender and small,
To the noble, living one
Over the tender, slender grass,

Then come, let us turn our course back
Come, let us turn our steps back
To the noble settlement.
To the noble hamlet.
