يَقُل الشِعرَ يَنبغِ
O youth of the clan, he was—if
O youth of the district, if
O youth of the tribe, if indeed
he recites poetry, it is fitting.
He recites poetry, it befits
Poetry is recited, it ought to be fitting,

You were distinguished among the people,
That you be virtuous among the people
For you were virtuous among the people,
and distinction befits you.
And virtue befits you
And virtue is what truly befits you.
