O noble one who captivates me
O man of letters who has captivated me,
by the noble deeds in his hands.
In his hands are gifts
In whose hands lie noble virtues,

If only a people whose pursuit is in
Would that a people whose habit regarding me

And regarding you is treachery, had perished.
