تَرَكتَهاyou left it آيَةَa marvel إِبلاغِof eloquent expression
تَرَكتَها آيَةَ إِبلاغِ
O my father, how eloquently you presented an argument,
Oh father, how effective was your argument
O my father, how eloquently you conveyed a plea,
Leaving it a marvel of eloquence.
You left as a sign of conveyance
You left it as a testament of true delivery.
بِاللَغوِwith idle talk أَودىbrought ruin مُنذُsince فارَقنيhe left me
بِاللَغوِ أَودى مُنذُ فارَقني
هَبّsprang up لِنَصريto my defense لاغِa babbler
هَبّ لِنَصري لاغِ
With idle talk he brought ruin after he left me;
With eloquence, I have been destroyed since you left me
Ruin came through idle talk since he parted from me,
A babbler sprang to my defense.
Come to my aid, helper
A babbler has rushed to my aid.
