أبْلِغْ أحبَّتَنا الباكينَ من جِهتِي

أبْلِغْ أحبَّتَنا الباكينَ من جِهتِي

أنِّي حَمْتِني أُسُودٌ حِمْيَرِيَّاتُ

Tell our loved ones who weep for me

Tell our weeping loved ones on my behalf

Convey to our loved ones who weep for my sake,

that Himyarite lions have sheltered me—

That Himyarite lions have protected me—

That I have been guarded by Himyarite lions;

مِن الضَّراغِمِ إِلّا أَنَّ غابَهُمُ

بِيضٌ حِداد وحُمْرٌ سَمْهَرِيَّاتُ

بِيضٌ حِداد وحُمْرٌ سَمْهَرِيَّاتُ

fierce lions, except that their thickets are

sharp white blades and red Samharian spears.

Sharp white swords and red Samhari spears.

فمن يَكنْ فيه بينَ اِثنَينِ مُختلفٌ

فمن يَكنْ فيه بينَ اِثنَينِ مُختلفٌ

فذا الّذي اِتّفقَت فيه البَرِيَّاتُ

فذا الّذي اِتّفقَت فيه البَرِيَّاتُ

Whoever else may be disputed between two people,

If two should disagree about anyone,

And whoever is a subject of dispute between two,

this is the man on whom all creation agrees.

Here is the one on whom all creation has agreed.

This is he upon whom all creation agrees.
