O sorrow-stricken solitary one,
O solitary, sorrowful one,
O isolated one, complaining
O solitary and sorrowful one,
reproach Fate and make your grievance against it.

إِنَّindeed بَينَparting from الحَبيبِthe beloved قَدalready
إِنَّ بَينَ الحَبيبِ قَد
عاقَكَhas hindered you اليَومَtoday وَشكُهits imminence
عاقَكَ اليَومَ وَشكُه
Indeed, of separation from the beloved,
Indeed, parting from the beloved—already
Between the beloved today
For indeed, the parting of the beloved has
its swift approach has thwarted you today.
its imminence has hindered you today.
He has abandoned and spurned you.
