And I did not enter the bathhouse for a while among them
I did not enter the bathhouse among them,

Students of comfort with whom I was content.
وَلكِنbut لِتَجرِيso that it may flow دَمعَتِيmy tear مُطمَئِنَّةًat ease
فأبكِيso I weep ولاand not يَدرِيhe knows بِذَاكَof that جَلِيسيmy companion
but so that my tear might flow undisturbed,
But so my tears could flow calmly,
so I could weep without my companion knowing it.
I weep without my companion knowing why.
