An envious man told me, “The one you love has fallen ill.”
He said to me, "He who you love is envied by the sick"
I said, “You are the sick one—woe to you—not he.”
I said, "You are the one who is sick, poor you!

What fault did they find with the pimples
What is it that they disapproved in youthful charms
That doubled his beauty and increased his charms?
That multiplied his beauty and increased his allure?"

His body, in its clarity and delicacy, is water;
His body is like water in purity and gentleness
So no wonder bubbles have risen upon him.
So it's no wonder that bubbles rise over him
