May you find the remedy's outcome good,

and attain the well-being of recovery,

and emerge from it just as

the keen sword emerges from polishing.

And may you live on for the world, for you

are its cure for every ailment.

And may you inherit your foes' lifetimes

and divide them among your allies.

O best of those who ride noble steeds

and march beneath the banner's shade,

and charge forward on the day of battle,

and sit with knees drawn up on the day of largesse!

Glad tidings to you: a future of health,

    continuing without end,

in a reign that lasts as long

as time itself, secure from extinction,

    and in joy brought by

an age like the hem of a cloak.

And drink, for the breeze has grown pleasant,

and the air's garment has grown delicate,

so we may see, through you, the overlooking hall

    sway in robes of splendor.

And may you live on, with us as your ransom,

if we are acceptable as ransom.
