فَأَوَّلُ صَبْرِي كَانَ آخِرَ سَلْوَتِي

وَآخِرُ صَبْرِي كَانَ أَوَّلَ أَدْمُعِي

وَآخِرُ صَبْرِي كَانَ أَوَّلَ أَدْمُعِي

So the beginning of my patience was the end of my solace;

My first patience was my last solace

So the beginning of my patience was the end of my solace,

And the end of my patience was the beginning of my tears.

And my last patience was my first tears

And the end of my patience was the beginning of my tears.
