نَسَايَmy sciatic nerve نَسَتْنِيforgot me نَجَاتُهُits relief لَمَّاwhen
نَسَايَ نَسَتْنِي نَجَاتُهُ لَمَّا

تَذَكَّرَنِي مِنْهُ دَاءٌ دَخِيلْ
Relief from my sciatica forgot me when
I forget my salvation when
Deliverance from my sciatic pain forgot me when,
A deep-seated illness from it remembered me.
A strange malady reminds me of him
a deep-seated illness from it remembered me.
أَيَاO مَنْthose whom أَعَلَّهُmade him ill سَيْرٌa journey إِلَيْهِمْto them
أَيَا مَنْ أَعَلَّهُ سَيْرٌ إِلَيْهِمْ
نَشَدْتُكُمُI implore you all اللهَby God مَنْwho لِلْعَلِيلْfor the ailing one
نَشَدْتُكُمُ اللهَ مَنْ لِلْعَلِيلْ
O you, journeying to whom has made him ill,
O you whom a journey takes you to them
O you whom the journey to them has made ill,
I implore you by God: who is there for the ailing?
I implore you, in God's name, help the ailing one
I beseech you by God, who is there for the ailing?
