وَمَدَى اللَّهْوِ فِي ذُرَاهُ عَرِيضُ
Indeed, the garden of al-Kitan is a lush garden,
The garden of eucalyptus is a gentle garden
Indeed, the Garden of Al-Kitan is a verdant meadow,
and the scope for merriment on its heights is wide.
And the expanse of joy in its arms is wide
And the expanse of pleasure within its heights is broad;
يَكْتَسِيbecomes clothed in نَضْرَةًfreshness بِهِthrough it وَسُرُوراًand joy
يَكْتَسِي نَضْرَةً بِهِ وَسُرُوراً

Through it, freshness and joy clothe
It is clothed with vitality and bliss
He is clothed in radiance and joy by it,
the one whose heart is sick with cares.
Whoever enters it, sick with worries
Whoever's innermost heart is sick with sorrows.
