I suffered, O my Lord, at Ghamur's hands,
I met, O Lord, from deep sorrows
I have suffered, O Lord, at the hands of Ghamur,
Agony that ravages joy.
A joy that brings happiness and cheer
A severe affliction that banishes all joy.
يَاO رَبَّنَاour Lord اصْبُبْpour عَلَيْهِupon him صَبًّاabundantly
بَلاَءَكَYour affliction الْقَاصِمَshattering الظُّهُورِbacks
O our Lord, pour abundantly upon him
O Lord, pour upon it copiously
O our Lord, pour down upon him in torrents
Your affliction that shatters backs.
Your torment that shatters the arrogant
Your back-breaking scourge.
وَشُنَّand unleash يَاO رَبَّنَاour Lord عَلَيْهِupon him
غَارَاتِonslaughts زِلْزَالِكَYour earthquake الْمُبِيرِdevastating
And unleash, O our Lord, upon him
And unleash, O our Lord, upon it
And unleash against him, O our Lord,
The onslaughts of Your devastating earthquake.
Raids of your devastating earthquake
The onslaughts of Your annihilating quake.
وَهُدَّand demolish يَاO رَبِّmy Lord مَاwhat ابْتَنَاهُhe has built
مِنْnamely كَعْبَةِthe Kaaba الْجُورِinjustice وَالْفُجُورِand depravity
And demolish, O my Lord, what he has built:
And destroy, O Lord, what it has built
And demolish, O Lord, what he has erected
The Kaaba of injustice and depravity.
Of the Kaaba of injustice and immorality
As a shrine of tyranny and wickedness.

By Your greatest name, subject him to humiliation
In Your Greatest Name, make it humiliated
By Your Greatest Name, subject him to a disgrace
That makes him taste the anguish of the ages.
Inflicting on it the bitterness of eras
That makes him taste the bitter pain of the ages.
