وَفَحِّصُوا عَنْ حَوْضِ
Clear the way to the pool,
Clear the path to the pond
Clear the way to the basin,
And seek a pool
And search for a pond
And seek out a watering pool,

Like pure silver,
Like clear flowing streams
Like the purest of silver,
Flowing through a meadow
In the midst of an orchard with fruits and citrus
Flowing amidst a meadow,

مِنَ الْجَمِيمِ الْغَضِّ
With sweet and salty herbage,
From a bountiful spring not meager
Rich with sweet herbs and saltbushes,
Of tender, luxuriant growth,
On flat land
Of tender, luxuriant vegetation,

Or fresh shoots, not scant growth,
Refreshing all around
Or early sprouts that are never sparse,
On a level stretch of land.
In its length and breadth
Upon a level stretch of land,

Every body is refreshed
Reviving every expanse,
Throughout its length and breadth.
Across its length and breadth.
