بِعَبْدِ الْخَالِقِالْجُودِ السَّخِيِّ

بِعَبْدِ الْخَالِقِالْجُودِ السَّخِيِّ

مَلاَذِ الْخَلْقِ ذِي الْخُلُقِ الْبَهِيِّ

مَلاَذِ الْخَلْقِ ذِي الْخُلُقِ الْبَهِيِّ

At Abd al-Khaliq, generous bounty itself,

With the Servant of the Bountiful Creator

Beside 'Abd al-Khaliq, the generous and bountiful,

the refuge of humankind, possessed of splendid character,

Refuge of creation, of noble trait

The refuge of mankind, possessor of splendid character,

أَنِخْ عَنَسَ الرَّجَاءِ عَلَى يَقِينٍ

أَنِخْ عَنَسَ الرَّجَاءِ عَلَى يَقِينٍ

بِأَنْ يَلْقَاكَ بِالْوَجْهِ السَّنِيِّ

بِأَنْ يَلْقَاكَ بِالْوَجْهِ السَّنِيِّ

make the sturdy she-camel of hope kneel, certain

Lower the camel of hope to certainty

Make the she-camel of hope kneel down with certainty

that he will meet you with a radiant face.

That He will meet you with a joyful face

That he will receive you with a radiant face,

وَقُلْ يَا يُسْرَهُ الْمَيْسُورَ أَنْصِتْ

وَقُلْ يَا يُسْرَهُ الْمَيْسُورَ أَنْصِتْ

فَقَدْ نَادَاكَ عُسْرُ الْحَارِثِيِّ

فَقَدْ نَادَاكَ عُسْرُ الْحَارِثِيِّ

And say, “O his readily available ease, listen:

And say: O Ease, listen to the call

And say: "O his ready ease, listen!

for al-Harithi’s hardship has called to you.”

Of Hardship the Harithi, for he calls you

For the hardship of Al-Harithi has called out to you."
