    Your speech—by the gardens in their dew—

    Is more delicate than the breezes upon their hills,

    And more fragrant to the noses of taste than what

    The wild calves have borne upon their necks.

    شَرَائِعُهُمْ بَدَا لَكَ مُنْتَهَاهَا

    Indeed, you are the arbiter of all men of letters;

    The furthest reach of their laws has become clear to you.

    So raise their edifices, O servant of your Creator,

    And guard their sanctuary, O servant of your Creator.

    So may the gardens of glory never cease to offer

    To your good fortune whatever wafts of their fragrance.
