Through them he scaled a difficult ascent, and he gained,
Through them he attained a difficult ascent, so he had
Through them he scaled a difficult ascent, and so attained,
When they aided him in it, a stature of real distinction.
When they supported him, a high standing
When they aided him upon it, a standing of great distinction.

And whoever tries it at close hand, testing my words,
And whoever tries the proximity and tests my words
And whoever tests this intimately, examining my words,
Will find my statement supported by proof.
Will find my saying supported with proof
Will find my statement bolstered by clear proof.

In the year one thousand one hundred and fifteen,
In fifteen hundred and eleven he quickly passed
In the year fifteen, after one thousand and one hundred,
He passed swiftly to repose and fragrant herbs.
To spirit and gardens of bliss
He departed swiftly to joyous rest and sweet fragrance.

He kept drawing upon the lights that shone for them,
He kept drawing lights that shone for them
He never ceased to draw from their lights that brightly shone,
Until he died, without reproach for any failing.
Until he passed away complete, with no deficiency
Until he passed away, untainted by any flaw or deficiency.
