وجرى مجرى سعيد لا نَحيسْ
Your Nowruz was delightful on Thursday,
Your Nayrouz was auspicious on Thursday,
And followed a fortunate course, not an ill-fated one.
Flowing happily, no ill-omen in sight.

It was nothing but joy throughout,
It was nothing but joy throughout,
And delight, and gifts for the companion.
And warmth and affection for the companion.

Your bounty kept pouring down upon us
The shade of your kindness continues to pour
From your two right hands—precious gifts from a precious giver.
Precious water on us from your right hand.

So link Nowruz, and pair its solitary day
So celebrate Nayrouz and make its latter part
With a brother; grant it a companion.
Auspicious with a brother's kindness and favor.

Adorn Goodness in her dress anew,
Until you see yourself in timeworn old age,
Lest you see your life in its feeble garb.

بين أشباه المها والخندريس
Lending your ear to music, living in ease,
Inclining gently towards pleasures
Amid oryx-like beauties and aged wine.
Amidst the loves and the tender plants.

O sons of Wahb, your bounties
Settled in your house, dwelling like a captive.
Have settled permanently in your abode.

It will never depart from you,
Never to disappear from you,
So feel safe from the terror of a wretched day.
So rest assured against the fear of the woeful day.

And to you return the rest of the eager ones.

So wear it, and grant us its surplus,
So adorn yourselves with them and bestow their merit upon us
O sons of every chief who leads a chief.
O sons of every eminent ancestor.
