أنتما عنديَ يا ابْنَيْ رمضانِ
يشهدُbears witness الرحمنُthe Merciful ذاكُمthat (addressing you) أحمقانِtwo fools
يشهدُ الرحمنُ ذاكُم أحمقانِ
You two, in my eyes, O sons of Ramadan,
You are with me, O my two sons of Ramadan
are two fools—the Merciful bears witness to that.
The Most Merciful testifies you both are idiots

يا ابنَي القرفَةِ والتربِذِ وال
جُنْدcastoreum (part 1 of 3) بيدcastoreum (part 2 of 3) سترcastoreum (part 3 of 3) والشِّبِّand alum اليمانيYemeni
جُنْد بيد ستر والشِّبِّ اليماني
O sons of cinnamon, turpeth, and
O sons of vulgarity, rags, and who knows what
castoreum and Yemeni alum!
