ترىyou see الرَّعيَّةَthe subjects إماeither راغياًbellowing وسطاًin the middle
ترى الرَّعيَّةَ إما راغياً وسطاً
أوor رابضاًreclining حجرةًto one side منof مرتعٍa pasture وسطِgood
أو رابضاً حجرةً من مرتعٍ وسطِ
You see the subjects either bellowing in the midst,
The people are seen either wandering around
or reclining to one side of a good pasture.
Or sitting in a meadow from a pasture
فليسso there is no فيamong الناسthe people مغبوطٌone envied بمغْبطهِfor his good fortune
فليس في الناس مغبوطٌ بمغْبطهِ
لأنهbecause it is the case that ليسthere is not فيهمamong them غيرanyone other than مُغتبطone content
لأنه ليس فيهم غير مُغتبط
So none among the people is envied for his good fortune,
For there is no one fortunate with his fortune
for every one of them is content.
Because there is no one among them but the fortunate
ياO طالبَseeker of العُرفِfavor أعْيتهُhave wearied him وسائلهُhis means of approach
يا طالبَ العُرفِ أعْيتهُ وسائلهُ
دعset aside الوسائلَthe means of approach والأسبابand the connections واختبطِand seek favor without prior ties
دع الوسائلَ والأسباب واختبطِ
O seeker of favor whose means of approach have wearied him,
O you who seeks the path, its means have fatigued you
set aside means and connections, and seek favor without prior ties.
Leave the means and causes and seek randomly
اليومtoday تبلغُyou will attain ماwhatever أمَّلتyou hoped for منof أملٍa hope
اليوم تبلغُ ما أمَّلت من أملٍ
وماand whatever تمنَّيتَyou wished for منof أمنيَّةٍa wish شطَطِextravagant
وما تمنَّيتَ من أمنيَّةٍ شطَطِ
Today you will attain all that you hoped for,
Today you attain what you wished for in hope
and all you wished for, however extravagant the wish.
And what you desired of far-fetched wishes
