What your eye seeks in him lies between a midmorning sun
The intent of your eyes toward it between the radiant sun of morning,
And a tender, well-watered branch of the bān tree.
And soft from the dripping branches of frankincense,

His upper parts are slender, his lower parts closely entwined,
Its tips lightened and its base turned
As though two Lubāns had fashioned his two halves.
As if its two halves were cast by frankincense.
