ليسis not الكريمthe generous man منone who اشترىbought بنوالهِwith his bounty
ليس الكريم من اشترى بنوالهِ
حمدَpraise الرجالِof men وإنand even if أنالgave جزيلاabundantly
حمدَ الرجالِ وإن أنال جزيلا
The generous man is not one who buys with his bounty
The generous man is not he who bought praise with his money
The praise of men, even if he gives lavishly.
Though he won much approval from people
لكنهbut he منone who جادَgave generously جُودَgenerosity طبيعةٍnatural disposition
لكنه من جادَ جُودَ طبيعةٍ
ورأىand saw الفعالَnoble action مِنamong الفعالdeeds جميلاbeautiful
ورأى الفعالَ مِن الفعال جميلا
Rather, he is one who gives generously by nature
But he is the one whose nature is naturally generous
And sees noble action as beautiful among deeds.
And saw good deeds as beautiful in themselves
