قل للإمام المهتدي كاسمه

وللشبيه السر بالجهر

وللشبيه السر بالجهر

Tell Imam al-Muhtadi, rightly guided as his name implies,

Tell the rightly-guided Imam, whose name denotes it,

and him whose private conduct resembles his public conduct:

And the secret-keeper openly,

أنصفت بعض الناس من بعضهم

أنصفت بعض الناس من بعضهم

فأنصف الناسَ من الدهر

فأنصف الناسَ من الدهر

You have granted some people justice against others;

You have done justice among some people over others,

so grant the people justice against Time.

So do justice to all people against time.
