ليس يستَيقِنُ العناية مشفُو

ليس يستَيقِنُ العناية مشفُو

عٌ إليه حتى يُدَلَّ عليها

عٌ إليه حتى يُدَلَّ عليها

One petitioned through intercession cannot be sure of the concern

The care is not known with certainty

until it is made evident to him.

To someone until he is guided to it

ودليلُ العناية الحَثُّ والتَّحْ

ودليلُ العناية الحَثُّ والتَّحْ

ريكُ في الحاجة المُشارِ إليها

ريكُ في الحاجة المُشارِ إليها

And the proof of concern is urging and spurring

And the evidence of care is urging and motivating

action on the request referred to.

In the need that is indicated to it

فَتَوخَّ الإعذارَ واعلُ عن التعْ

فَتَوخَّ الإعذارَ واعلُ عن التعْ

ذير لا زلت للعُلى ولديها

ذير لا زلت للعُلى ولديها

So strive to do your utmost, and rise above half-hearted

So pursue apologizing and desist from blaming

effort; may you ever serve greatness and remain beside it.

As long as you are rising to the heights and aiming for them

وحقيقٌ ألا تُروَّعَ نفسٌ

وحقيقٌ ألا تُروَّعَ نفسٌ

أعلَقَتْ في ذراك يوماً يديها

أعلَقَتْ في ذراك يوماً يديها

And a soul has the right not to be frightened

And it is right that no soul be frightened

that once clung with both hands to your shelter.

That has attached its hands to your robe one day
