يا ابن التي لم تزل تُجاري
فيin الغيِّwickedness شيطانَهاher devil اللعيناthe accursed
في الغيِّ شيطانَها اللعينا
O son of the woman who never ceased to rival
O son of her who has not ceased
Her accursed devil in wickedness,
To indulge her accursed devil in debauchery,
تزْنيshe fornicates وتُزنيand makes others fornicate ولاand does not تُباليcare
تزْني وتُزني ولا تُبالي
ولاand does not تدينُworship الإلهGod ديناany devotion
ولا تدينُ الإله دينا
She fornicates and makes others fornicate, and does not care,
Committing adultery and making others do so, without caring,
Nor does she worship God at all,
Having no religion or faith,
حتىuntil إذاwhen يومُهاher day أتاهاcame to her
حتى إذا يومُها أتاها
أوْصَتshe instructed بنيهاher sons خَزُواmay they be disgraced بنيناas sons
أوْصَت بنيها خَزُوا بنينا
Until, when her day came to her,
Until the day she meets her end,
She instructed her sons—may they be disgraced as sons—
She will instruct her sons: Oppress our sons!
بأنْto the effect that إذاwhen مِتُّI die فاجعلونيthen make me
بأنْ إذا مِتُّ فاجعلوني
ذَريرةًscented powder للمخنثيناfor the effeminate men
ذَريرةً للمخنثينا
Saying, 'When I die, then make me
And when I die, make me
A scented powder for the effeminate men.'
A plaything for the effeminate!
