للَّهِ أفعالك تلك التي

لحتْكَ من جوعٍ وتدليكِ

How splendid, by God, those deeds of yours that

To God belong those acts of yours

rid you of hunger and masturbation!

That freed you from hunger and massage

ورُحت منها طاعماً ناعماً

ورُحت منها طاعماً ناعماً

كأنما فزتَ بتمليك

كأنما فزتَ بتمليك

And you went away from them well-fed and pampered,

And you went from it satisfied and pampered

as though you had won dominion.

As if you had gained by ownership

للَّه أفعالُك تلك التي

للَّه أفعالُك تلك التي

بِتَّ بها فوقَ الدرانيك

بِتَّ بها فوقَ الدرانيك

How splendid, by God, those deeds of yours through which

To God belong those acts of yours

you spent the night atop shaggy rugs!

With which you slept atop staircases

فُزتَ بقدرٍ طيِّبٍ طعمُها

فُزتَ بقدرٍ طيِّبٍ طعمُها

وكعثبٍ زينَ بتشويك

وكعثبٍ زينَ بتشويك

You won a potful with a pleasant flavor,

You gained a good sustenance

and a vulva adorned with thorn-like hair.

And pounced, adorned with ravishing

قد بخَّرته لك هِركَوْلةٌ

قد بخَّرته لك هِركَوْلةٌ

ومسَّكته أيَّ تمسيك

ومسَّكته أيَّ تمسيك

A full-hipped woman had perfumed it with incense for you,

It steamed for you, O Hercules

and scented it with musk—what a scenting!

And you took hold of it, O any seizing
