In which your piercing treachery shone through

بيتٌ وبيتٌ عقربٌ تُتَّقَى

وأرْيُ نحلٍ في اللَّها ذائبُ

One verse and another: a scorpion to be shunned,

جرَّحتَني فيها وداويتني
