فلاso do not تقطَعَنَّever cut off سبيليmy way إليكاto you
فلا تقطَعَنَّ سبيلي إليكا
My way to you is my letter to you;
My path to you is my letter to you
So never cut off my way to you.
So do not sever my path to you

يُسدُّ بها بابُ جَدوى يديكا
I seek God's protection for you against an illness
I seek refuge in Allah from any fault
That would shut the door to your hands' bounty.
That would close the door of your kindness to me

Concerning my letters, and acquaint him with my standing with you.
About my letters and make known my state to you

And were it not for my caution against being forgotten,
And though my caution against forgetfulness has failed
My reliance on you would have spared me the letter.
My reliance on writing to you is enough for me
