قدindeed قُرنwas paired المشتريJupiter إلىwith البدرِthe full moon
قد قُرن المشتري إلى البدرِ
ووافقand coincided with السؤلُthe wish ليلةَnight القدرِthe Decree
ووافق السؤلُ ليلةَ القدرِ
Jupiter has been paired with the full moon,
The buyer was likened to the full moon
And the wish has coincided with the Night of Decree.
And the question coincided with the night of value
ضُمَّwas joined إلىto خيرthe best والدfather ولدٌa son
ضُمَّ إلى خير والد ولدٌ
حلoccupied محلَّthe place of الفؤادthe heart فيin الصدرthe breast
حل محلَّ الفؤاد في الصدر
A son has been joined to the finest father,
A good child was joined to the best parent
Taking the heart’s place within the breast.
And took the place of the heart in the chest
سيدةa lady فيin الزمانthe age أهدتshe offered as a gift إلىto الthe
سيدة في الزمان أهدت إلى ال
سيِّدlord أنساًdelight لسيدfor a lord غَمرgenerous
سيِّد أنساً لسيد غَمر
A lady of the age has offered to the
A lady of her time gifted to the
lord a joy, for a generous lord.
Master a companion for the immersed lord
أمتعَهmay He grant him enjoyment أفضلَthe fullest المتاعenjoyment بهin him
أمتعَه أفضلَ المتاع به
مُعطِيهthe One who gave to him إياهhim آخرَuntil the end of الدهرtime
مُعطِيه إياه آخرَ الدهر
May He grant him the fullest joy in his son,
She entertained him with the best entertainment through him
He who bestowed that son upon him, until the end of time.
Giving it to him for the rest of time
